A mysterious young girl with a talent for singing. She wanders the devastated planet, sketching cryptic pictures on the floors and walls of desolate structures, finding little treasures and befriending stray cats. All the while, she dreams of meeting another human being.
Late in the game, it is revealed that she is part of the second Glass Cage project, as part of Shin's plans to destroy the few humans who survived the first Glass Cage project. However, after Seto stops him from going through with his plan, Ren joins Seto in his search for any remaining people on Earth.
The manga reveals that Ren has a heart condition that requires specific medication; if she does not take it, her heart will beat erratically fast.
