A Masterpiece that could've been even better 0

The second Red Dead Redemption might be the hardest game to talk about. Because it's so impressive, the production value, the dept, the performances, the game just looks amazing. But it doesn't have the best controls, or one of the best gameplays, while sometimes is too slow or repetitive. But still, the story of Arthur Morgan is one that will be remembered for the ages.I love how Rockstar made us feel that the story arc in the game is personal, they give some characters with big personalities, ...

Red Dead Redemption 2: A game to behold 1

Never before have I seen a game that can completely immerse the player into a fictional world within the first 10 mins of playing. From the stunningly, realistic graphics of the 1890’s America, to the complex yet, easy to follow story and the rugged, lifelike gameplay can make a grown man cry. Especially to be a creation from a corporation that is notorious for their lackluster effort and scummy microtransactions. It is as if a 1-star café has won best coffee award. Only once before...

    Perfection and imperfection 0

RDR2 is collection of great elements and few major parts that bring the whole thing down to a level where it should not be. Polish of the game is heavily directed towards the visual aspects of the game, while everything related to game play feels like rusted relics of the past. There are just too many weird decision about the game play that I cant list them all. There is much more to be said about the controls and most of it is not good. Like for example fist fighting might as well be canned anim...

Introducing game mechanics 30+ hours in is the playground equivalent to 'my shield blocks your invincible laser.' 0

This game is not timeless. This game is forgettable. The gameplay occupies the same futility as all the vehicles that became between the bicycle and the car. Or better yet, between Da Vinci's flying machine and the Wright Brother's plane. They all were improvements on an original design but truly accomplished nothing. Efforts at creating yet another way to remap controls to do something stupid like move a barrel of TNT in the last 2 hours of a game is beyond dumb. I'd prefer if you deployed cuts...

    He Had A Plan! 0

Red Dead Redemption 2 despite its name is actually a prequel to Red Dead Redemption, which come to think of it is one of the main reasons in which we decided to purchase the game, as we have never played any of the Red Dead Redemption titles, prior to this one of course. It is a Western style action game that has the main protagonist living life as a typical Outlaw in a rather vast open world.Whilst the story is rather fun and unique, it does however take a while to get interesting and for the ...

An incredible, but majorly flawed experience 0

If I had to describe Red Dead Redemption 2 in one word, it would be dense. This game is jam-packed with so many systems and things to do, that it can honestly be overwhelming at times. From big things like story missions and train robberies to smaller things like landscape photography, Red Dead Redemption 2 is vast in both scale and scope. Serving as a prequel to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption, this game has you playing as Arthur Morgan, the right-hand man in the Dutch Van Der Linde outlaw ga...

Say Goodbye to All Your Other Hobbies 0

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of those games where you come home, boot it up, and think "I'll just play a couple missions before going to bed." After countless hours of not even completing a single mission, you finally look up and it's 2 AM and you have to be at work in 6 hours. It is so realistic that it will suck you into its world and won't let go, and that immersion and attention to detail by Rockstar has both its positives and negatives.Gameplay:To simplify it entirely, the game consists of ...

Red Dead Redemption 2 Review 0

Red Dead Redemption 2 feels exactly how Rockstar games have felt in the past, for better or worse. Character movement is incredibly slow, shooting relies heavily on auto-aim and generally feels pretty sluggish, and you’ll have to power through some pretty lengthy chapters that feel like they drag on forever. But if you’re able to look past these dated-feeling quirks, you’ll find that Redemption 2’s plot, characters, and world building are some of the best Rockstar has eve...

Let's be honest, a lot of other people liked this game better than I did. 0

The sequel that is a prequel, Red Dead Redemption 2 takes place in the time line before the story of the much revered Red Dead Redemption. The main story is based around the adventures of Arthur Morgan as we works as the second hand man of Dutch van der Linde. The Van der Linde gang finds itself on hard times and running from an attempted score in the town of Blackwater that went awry. Living much as nomads, the gang must keep moving to avoid the law and Pinkertons. As they move they must also t...
