    Overview

    Ranma 1/2: Byakuran Aika ("White Orchid Serenade") is a Ranma 1/2 licensed adventure game that has players choosing multiple choice prompts at various points in the story to move things along. In addition to answering prompts, the player will occasionally be required to take part in rock-paper-scissors matches to resolve battles.

    The story involves a new character, Arisa Nanjo, who seeks to trick protagonist Ranma Saotome into falling in love with her because she is insecure about her curse (shared with the character Shampoo, she turns into a cat when soaked) and is looking for a partner with a similar affliction. This scheme starts with several of Ranma's colleagues being abducted in the middle of the night, including his father Genma, as shown in the opening cinematic.

    It was developed and published by Masaya (NCS Corporation's video game development subsidiary) exclusively for the Japanese Mega CD.
