    Overview

    The Rakk Hives are large, hairy, elephantine creatures which all Rakks presumably spawn from. They are capable of using their Rakk swarms to defend themselves as well as the corrosive acid they produce. The player encounters and kills a Rakk Hive after they are told by the Guardian Angel that they must face a great challenge, however other Rakk Hives can be seen buried in the ground across Pandora.
