    Just thought I'd throw that out there.  It's a pretty standard arena shooter but for some reason I keep on getting thrown out by punkbuster (dunno why).

    Why not the quake live forum?

    I am in the beta, and its pretty fun, and you actually play in the browser unlike battlefield heroes.

    I will try, even if I've had problems with Punkbuster in the past, and I'm not much into shooters that go as fast as Quake.

    Quake Live really isn't fast, it's rather slow, something along the lines of UT but you also have clan mode where you can bounce rockets.

    Speaking of bouncing rockets, I use to be big into Warsow---> that's the fastest shooter I've ever played
    Yea, warsow is the fastest shooter ever i think.  It's essentially a game based on acrobatic combat- you continuously bunny hop and can get continuously faster---> then if you factor what you can do with this and rocket bouncing you can go zooming.

    yeah i got that beta but i keep getting my ass kicked. however i still have a good amout of fun and the fact that it is in firefox blows my mind really!

    ^ really?  Quake Live seems to have a rather low barrier of entry.  Then again...I did play Warsow... an arena shooter which doesn't exactly have a low barrier of entry.
    I like playing lots of clan--- bouncing with rockets is awesome!  aiming feels very good in this game. doesn't suffer from that loose feeling lots of arena shooters have

    Arena shooters are too hard to get into for me, I tried playing Warsow, and man, I couldn't keep track of what was happening. I'd think it is because I like to play with a low sensitivity, because I'm so used to slower paced FPS.

    It's great and the netcode is much improved over the original Quake 3. However, be careful as a lot of users are using an aimbot, making instagib almost impossible to play.

    I like it alot, just seems wierd how all the character have lost 8 stone.

    Will probably brush this aside when battlefield heroes get in full swing though.

    Getting into these betas (Quake, Battlefield Heroes etc...) is pretty damn hard. Obviously, that isn't a problem for Forcen (the almighty one) since he seems to be in everything these days. Man I hate that guy. ;)
