    Overview

    Purple Cape Man is an action game developed and published by Doug Fraker for the NES.

    The game was developed by Doug Fraker as a part of a tutorial on how to create new NES games.

    Gameplay

    Purple Cape Man Coming Across Two Enemy Ninjas

    Players take control of the Purple Cape Man, the vigilante ninja. The game is a side-scrolling action-platformer that has players jumping across gaps, avoiding obstacles such as spikes, and defeating enemy ninjas. At the end of each of the games four stages is a boss. Each boss has increased health over the normal enemies as well as unique attacks and movement patters.

    Controls

    • A - Jump
    • B - Punch/Throw Shuriken
    • D-Pad Down - Duck
    • D-Pad Left/Right - Move Left/Right
    • Start - Starts game from the title screen
