One of the finest strategy games of recent years. Built from the ground up for the Wii - it plays incredibly well (Anno: Create a New World in the EU)
Hard to believe it is not a Nintendo franchise. Charming and tricky puzzle game with stunning visuals. I played this again in 2013 and it looked like a game made last week. Superb.
Oozes quality. One of the best games I've played. It's a shame it took me 5 years to appreciate just how amazing it is.
A fantastic game that should be considered more cinematic than your average light gun game. Produces directed scares that a FPS could never create.
Would be in the top 10 for Runner and Beat alone. A wonderful collection of games.
Astonishingly cute and accessible 2D platformer with Kirby's transformational tricks really adding some life to the genre. And I don't even like 2D platformers.
[Wiiware] Fantastic addition to the Monkey Island series: funny, charming, and well written & acted. I've included the best chapter only to keep the list readable.
I admit I have a huge soft spot for Mario Party games. '9' was the best for a number of years and made up for the very mediocre '8'.
Fantastic expansion on the Geo Wars formula. Tonnes of content and some clever twists on Retro Evolved.
Wii games are all waggle and no fun? You've obviously never played Boom Blox!
Steals a lot of ideas from Mario Party and adds some silly 'parlour' games to the mix. 'Hide the controllers' never get's old when booze and friends are involved.
Yes it's Mario Kart. Yes it's not as good as Mario Kart 64 or Mario Kart DS. But it's still a damn fine Mario Kart.
Huge. Just Huge. Too big if I am honest. British voice actors and a really interesting world, make this the RPG highlight on the Wii
So many interesting, creepy and novel uses of motion control and the Wiimote. An outstanding Wii game.
The Wii controls make a classic game even better.
8-bit classic updated brilliantly for the current generation.
Platnium's Wii exclusive tanked commercially, and is over-the-top. However, there is still a lot to like about this ultra-violent and stylist game.
The best version of Resi 4, bar none.
More Mario Galaxy. And why not.
It might be on the PC too, but you can't beat couch puzzling.
RTS games don't work on consoles? Well think again! One of the best Wiiware titles.
Silly and funny: House of the Dead for fans of grime-house.
Interesting and very enjoyable Action-RTS spin-off from the Advanced Wars series.
More great Kirby. And why not.
The Wii controls make a classic game even better.
Rather let down by some clunky dialogue and plotting choices, but this is still a Mistwalker game and has all the expected qualities.
More blox bashing fun. Much more challenging than the original game.
You can't deny its appeal.
Introduces several new games and the Wii Motion Plus ramps up the immersion.
Far better than anticipated. Great singer player, excellent controls, and a nostalgic yet modern couch multiplayer. Brilliant.
Great sports title. Best in series.
Japanese board game, that is similar to monopoly, is given the Mario Party treatment. I like it.
A bit of a disappointment. Ruined by motion controls and some dreadful difficulty spikes.
Three cracking games in one. You can't go wrong.
Ingenious platformer involving up-drafts. Plays better than it sounds.
Zombie light-gun fun
Top quality but lacking the charm of WindWaker.
Reasonable collection of mini-mini games
The best version of Ghostbusters: The Video Game. Goes for a more 'Real Ghostbusters' vibe and is all the better for it. Motion controls also work better than the regular console versions.
Decent winter sports mini game collection. Great to crack open during the Olympics!
Chillout and kickback in this planetary physics based puzzle game
The first with Wii Motion Plus, and it works great.
I don't have the rhythm for it, but I can still appreciate it charms
Launch title that attempted to try lots of different control methods through its mini-games. The core game remains as enjoyable as before, if a bit too familiar.
More colour and charm than a bag of fruit sweets.
It came in the box!
Crazy difficulty spikes ruin what could have been the Wii's Pikmin.
Picked up at a charity auction. Rather good actually.
Zombie light-gun fun part 2
Not as good as the Dreamcast original due to the lack of maracas.
It's more animal crossing. Somehow it just doesn't work as well as the DS or 3DS versions.
Isn't that G over there! Dreamcast and Arcade classics brought back to life. Dated if I am honest.
It's not Excite Bike, but it is alright.
Inferior to the Winter version, and London 2012, but fun with friends.
Picked up at a charity auction.
It came with a spare controller you know.
Not the best in the series, and the 4:3 screen format is baffling.
Intriguing puzzle game on Wiiware
Not the best strategy game on the system, but a decent port and city management in your living-room.
Not the greatest game ever made, but the extras make up for it.
Bizarre but clever puzzles.
Actually my wife's game, but I've had a bash and its a passable Animal Crossing lite
Was hoping for more. I was a fan of the original.
Belongs to the misses. She never plays it.
Won in a charity auction. Polished but so boring.
One word. Terrible.
