I believe 'dusky maiden' is a casually racist way of saying 'darker skinned'. This seems more fitting to a Dr No or original books era where dark skinned still played as 'exotic'.

Ben, your old colleague didnt invent squat. That cake strat is a well known maths puzzle thing...

Its also complete balls because on a frosted cake you dont preserve the frosting per serving ratio. Either you are an edge person or not and you are getting stiffed. Cut radially like a sane person, and everyone gets the same sugary goodness.

I liked the review, but maybe it was... more than I needed?

I know you are catering to people with a range of needs so Im not saying thats bad. However as someone that fell off reviews with the odd exception, settling for general discussion on podcasts + QLs +feedback from people I respect on twitter, I dont know how much more this brings to the table, but maybe thats just me, and thats fine.

In general yes, I was waiting for the bit where you continued talking over footage of the game. However, assuming there will be a QL, that starts to feel like duplication.

I wonder if the art guy previously worked on Cut the Rope, the animation has a bounciness, and the eyes have a certain Om-Nom-ness to them

What's the difference between a sausage roll and pigs in blankets? After checking Wikipedia I'm kinda confused. In Germany we have "Würstchen im Schlafrock", (sausage in a dressing gown), which seems to be exactly the same thing as the UK sausage rolls (sausage inside puff pastry), yet "sausage roll" has it's own wiki article and it's a different one than "pigs in blankets".

Now I'm hungry AND confused :(

From what I can see, Pigs in Blankets are sausages in some kind of bread related covering. (except in the UK where its bacon wrapped). Sausage rolls are however a form of pastry, specifically flaky pastry which is sort of crumbly layered pastry.

This is the fastest maximum clearance in history. 5 minutes 20 seconds. This is the level some can get to.

Note the control of the cue ball, it's crazy.

Any televised, competition 147 is a big deal, you win bonus money (it was often £147,000 just for a maximum clearance), but to do it in this time is insane.

Indeed, that was absolute magic.
