"The End of Star Wars Galaxies" entry has been sitting in the "Coming up on Giant Bomb" mini-calendar for many months, ever since the announced end date. At first I thought it was funny that they put that in their calendar so far in advance. Then over time I kinda stopped noticing it or just mentally noted it as the marker denoting "Nothing else new for a while". But now I've just looked at it again and suddenly realized that it is less than two weeks away. Man, time has passed.
My grandfather owns one of these machines and I have to say it is a lot of fun to play. The guy in this video makes it look easy, but it actually takes some skill (more skill than I have, anyway) to keep a game going as long as he does.
You can see that at the end he just lets two balls go down the drain because he knows he's almost at the 10:00 minute mark (actually he should have done it 2 seconds sooner so you could see if he wins the lottery draw).
