Not quite right 0
Someone once said once you've done 90 percent of the work of making a game you've got 90 percent of the work left. Heavy rain is proof of that addage. Not as good as the original 0
In some ways Bioshock 2 is a better game than the original, the weapons and plasmids are way more powerful. But the experience is lesser in almost every way except for the minor points. You play a prototype Big Daddy who was bound to the daughter of Sophia Lamb. While Ryan was an objectivist modeled after Ayn Rand's ideals, Lamb is a collectivist in the spirit of Marx. The worst part about Batman Arkham Asylum is that it's a Batman game. Not that it captures the spirit of the Dark Knight poorly, it's actually quite good about it, with fabulous voicing and such. But as someone who's no more than a casual Batman fan I really don't care about that and it's ridiculous dialog and cliches while totally in character are kind of silly. Uncharted 2 is a really thrilling adventure. Following Giant Bomb's game of the year podcast i picked up a Playstation 3 to try it out and it really is something special. It's one of the best games ever made. The gameplay is a combination of Gears of War and platforming puzzles. But that sells it short. If it's possible Modern Warfare 2 took me by surprise. For a bunch of reasons I just didn't have very high expectations for this game. The reviews bashed the single player, I wasn't the biggest fan of Infinity Ward's last offering and thought it to be greatly overrated. The single player for this game turned out far better than I was expecting. The story was crazy--but to be honest that's kind of fine by me. I kind of like that it's got that ridiculous quality that a lot of action gam...
