My top 10 games of 2013

May games which were not release in 2013 but I played in 2013

List items

  • My most played game of 2013. Every patch comes with a ton of content and every battle can be new experience. I believe within a year wargaming has added over 100+ new tanks to the game, implemented the new physics engine and created new maps and gaming modes.

By playing this game and learning how the tanks worked made me more interested in reading up the historical records of these tanks.

  • It was a surprising indie game with the way it use the two sticks on a controller to control the characters. The controls was unique that it I had to train the brain to control them properly or hold the triggers down at the right time. It is a very good looking game and gives unique perspectives of the scenery with the default camera views. The climax of the story was much tamer then I suspected but still resulted in a powerful ending.

  • Although this game was release a year before, I picked it up when it was release on steam this year. As a cooking and preparing food simulator this may be the best I have played. It can be super addicting to get those perfect orders and rush hour absolutely hammers you into getting those orders as quickly as possible.

  • Grand Strategy where you can play as any landed character is crazy.

  • I am an absolute huge starcraft fan and going into this I knew I would enjoy it. The story was predictable and slightly short but it still made me excited to grab the next expansion with the protoss.

  • It was actually Tennis Elbow 2013 that I played a ton of. Although the graphics don't look spectacular it makes up for in gameplay. Hitting the ball back is all about positioning, timing and a little bit of rng luck. I played even more of virtua tennis 4, which has better visuals, but Tennis Elbow 2013 is a better tennis simulator to play.
