My second favorite podcast, the Rooster Teeth Drunk Tank, had its 100 episode today, and to celebrate they did a video podcast. They were all sitting around a table, with a bucket of cold beers in the middle. In it, I recognize Dos Equis, Lone Star (I think), and a 3rd brand which I didn't recognize. It's got a red label, gold cap, and big yellow 4 on it. I'm just curious about what it is, it could be a local brand, but I'm hoping it's something I can find out here on the east coast. I'm sure some of you drinkers can help me out. Thanks!
Games for Windows was updated lately, so that you can buy PC games through it's store, Steam style. Now that it's a stand-alone client, do I still need to keep my discs for Gears of War, Halo 2 and Viva Pinata around? Or can I put my product keys into GFWL somewhere and download the games disc-less?
Has there been any word if Ocarina of Time will be a part of Nintendo's "Enormous launch lineup"? I certainly hope so. I haven't played the game in years, but I'm totally prepared to do it again.
" After the stream is over, pretty sure you can download it using real player. Reaplayer has a web extension allowing you to download streaming video. "
I installed it, but it's telling me "this video is not downloadable from this site"
Hey, I JUST now discovered all of the stuff the guys have been doing on uStream. I'm not really into the twitter or uStream, but now that the Thursday Night Throw-downs are archived there, as well as all the useless, yet entertaining chit-chat of them driving around, not to mention the e3 live podcasts,
I need a way to download this stuff. Then I can throw it into the iPod converter and listen to it on the long drives to college and back. I tried using the Google, but haven't found any real solutions. Can any of you computer geniuses figure this out?
What you looking for is the number assigned to the video (for the Awakening Quick Look its 2236) and then going to http://www.giantbomb.com/video/params/XXXX (where XXXX is the number assigned to it).
Before the update to the media player on Giantbomb, I used to be able to use the Firefox download helper to download any Giantbomb video I wanted. I used to download quicklooks or the endurance run, convert it to iPod format, and watch them on the long drives to college.
Now that we've changed the media player, Firefox isn't able to do it anymore. Is there still any way to download the Giantbomb videos, besides pulling them off youtube or whatever. Thanks dudes.
