Disgustingly poor sportsmanship from Jess to start with fairies and potions to be honest. But ultimately that falls on Dan for not putting a stop to it, or simply having the players dump their inventory at the start. How hard would that have been?
Very neat concept, but a little more thought devoted to the execution would have gone a long way.
Why is this not written by Jeff or anyone in particular? Just written by "Giant Bomb Staff." Frustrating to see some "corporate-speak" message most likely from a PR team about one of the GB founders.
I was extremely excited to see this come out day and date on game pass. But as much as I played the arse out of TW2 I just found the old engine just seemed to be falling apart at the seams with the more complex and weird units and mechanics in this one.
It seems more than a little rushed, so I'm hoping a year or two of support will have it playing better.
Respect for powering through this one. This game had it's ups and downs, but the ending sequence is one of the most bafflingly awful things I've witnessed in years. I would pay good money to watch a documentary on this game's development. I feel there would be some Lost in La Mancha level stuff in there.
I'll leave cultural criticism to the twitter people. My problem here is that the combat feels extremely loose, mushy and bloated with 'fighting game' style moves that don't gel at all with a 3D multi-opponent environments.
It's reviewed good. But it feels bad. That's just me though.
