I've actually never done a raid past first year. I'd LOVE to do something like that today. Even if we start at Vault Of Glass or something to get team mechanics down.
Alright, it's been a while since I've really played, but I bought all of the expansions and I'm prepped and ready for the Rise Of Iron Experience. It's just been installed, I pressed some buttons and the coffee and adrenaline is flowing! I'm about to join BatmanX3, and I can be seen on the PS4 under my moniker 'Oddmaniac' if any fellow Giant Bombers would like to do some crazy stuff!
Like, exclusively crazy. Like, you'll ask, "Is he off of his medication crazy?".
You can always count on Oddman (Me), to feed your dog when you are away. Just don't name it something stupid, like all those bad parents who are dooming their children with names based on characters from "Game Of Thrones".
My PS4 Online Handle is: Oddmaniac.
But for real, if your Dog is named Jon Snow or Khaleesi, I'm going to kick it.
@giant_gamer: Damn I'd make a solid attempt at something that grand! Haha, as long as it was getting made...It'd be hard to know that you put in like several novels worth of story and dialogue for something that never got off of the ground.
Still worth doing for a fun imagination exercise, probably.
Abso-Freaking-Lutely. I'm a professional writer, so I do journalism, comic books, screenplays, and I have some tech skills so I'm making games as well. I would love to write a game. I wrote one before that was kind of a "Choose your own adventure" thing, but the project fell through on the developer's end.
Is there an offer here or is this just a question posed out of curiosity?
Because I'd be totally down for this! Experimentation is how the narrative of games will and has grown through the ages!
I have been following Jeff Gerstmann and Brad Shoemaker, (and all of the ex-Gamespot guys), since 'The Hotspot' days, and they've been making me laugh consistently ever since, which I have always appreciated.
(To clarify: when I say 'following', I mean it in like, an admiring professional manner, as opposed to some stalker-esque behaviour. Though I did meet Jeff (and MC Chris) in San Francisco at a gamespot party several years ago, which was a lot of fun).
The entire crew of Giant Bomb is awesome. The site is great, and I love that they do things in their own, very interesting, and always entertaining way.
