Settings the graphics to Ultra is almost never worth the performance hit unless you're taking screenshots. It makes even less sense if you're streaming since it makes things more sharp/detailed which video encoders and players still struggle with in motion and it ends up looking worse for the viewers.

The black levels on the youtube uploads are washed out a bit.

I wonder if Vinny has played Gratuitous Space Battles? It's pretty much the same type of game but with more depth and unit ai customization.

Unfortunately, my current feelings on the redesign are still largely the same now as my initial impression, which could be summed up as inefficient use of space on the home page for desktop viewing.

Ideally, I would still prefer a similar compact version of the old website(I suggested https://easyallies.com/ as an example of what this might look like in the site redesign feedback forum post before), but that seems unlikely.

So discounting that, I would at least like an actual "Latest" page that contains all the new stuff since things can easily get buried at first glance unless you scroll the carousel. The https://www.giantbomb.com/videos/ page is close, but obviously doesn't contain non-video content.

good work on the video version on this one jan. i usually notice a couple things that are off on some bombcasts such as tilted framing or inconsistent colors between the three camera shots, but this one was pretty good.

colors are off on this one compared to the usual.

the youtube archive of this stream has different black levels(and lower bitrate?) than this one.

the return of drinks, the couch, and butt city.

They say the stealth/ambush mechanic is what makes it different from xcom, but xcom 2 actually has this also, just not in real time.
