I'm about 20h in, got to the "branch" so far, It's definitely an interesting one, I'm loving the darker take and the focus on the story, but the UI snapping and the delay in taking out the camera to look around is very jarring, the combat feels like busywork at this point...
All in all this game made me really excited for whatever they come up with next, the latest Digimon games have been really good in a lot of different aspects, so I'm hoping they can put it all together next time!

Shadowman - an old favorite of mine

The walking dead (telltale) - I saw some people bring this one up, and I'd like to stress how good this is.

Torment: Tides of Numenera - In the Numenera setting, since it takes place in the superfuture after several apocalypses, everyone is mixed and there isn't really any division between races. You don't get to alter your character outside of gender though.

Nice! Both Amnesia games were pretty great, The Dark Descent, as a horror game, and A Machine for Pigs as a narrative experience.

Have to say, after playing a machine for Pigs for 1.5h, i wasn't into it at all, but then the story kicked in in full gear and culminated with what I would call one of the best monologues in gaming, so in the end it was a very satisfying experience.

I hope they take what made each of the previous titles special and add something else into the mix, i'm genuinely excited for this one!

Path of Exile has boss that explodes in a fiery aoe after being killed.

He charges up, I remember stopping to admire the fancy death animation, little did I know it would be the last thing my Hardcore character saw...

Since all of mine have been mentioned i'd like to throw in Call of Juarez: Gunslinger into the mix!

First game where I actually went back and got the best ranking on all missions just because I was loving every second of it!

I think they're pretty well designed in that they are actually fun and every time you die you feel like you've learned something, gotten better in some way and are ready to jump right back in.

The fights seem designed as resource and aggro management exercises, pick your battles, always be moving, use the correct gun at every stage, etc.

That said, the Undying King fight was truly something, it stopped my progress for a good few days until I finally managed it, and damn it was close.

Hello,

I'm in the exact same situation as you, except my dentist didn't really say anything other than the fact that soda is horrible for my teeth, etc.

Been having issues with depression for a while now, also only recently started seeing a therapist. That aside, I did stop taking care of myself, did only the bare minimum when I went for work or outside.
So, i just started working on my teeth, just last week actaully, got a massive list of cavities and teeth that are broken, finally sorted out some black spots on my front teeth, and i'm feeling a bit better about it too. It's something you should push yourself through, your health matters and you'll feel better once you feel progress.

Hold on there buddy, I know it's tough, but you don't have to do it alone, we're around here for you too, and if you wanna swap stories or just talk let me know :)

Have a nice day and get those pearls polished!

Well, there is a reason Steam made game libraries private, so people would be more open to buying these without shame.

VR is also a thing! I think the Oculus has its own store with with some special stuff on it.

As for the actual popularity of these I've been wondering this myself, are these legitimate games or just low-effort flash games made to generate trading cards?

Maaan P3 was quite something and the story escalates in such a fantastic way.

Big fan of 4 and 5 too, but in my opinion 3 takes the cake, overlooking the technical aspect, of course.
