They'd probably make a lot more money if they were a bit scummier. Gamers always reward the publisher that treats them the worst.

It's an obvious conclusion that anyone could come to based only on the specs. They're the same architecture except one is more powerful, what else do you expect? It's not like with the 360 and PS3 where one was only theoretically more powerful but had trade offs in the real world.

Honestly, even if they just did a lazy port from Xbox One, the (mostly) same code would still run better on the PS4. But if it's anything like Xbox and PS2, developers will probably take advantage of the extra resources because they like to put their best foot forward.

They'll both release at $449 a week apart.

I'm not going to buy it, but I'm not going to boycott it. I just don't need more than one console and one is clearly better for me.

Excited for PS4. I like Sony exclusives and it will probably get all the Japanese games as well. Multiplatforms will also run better on PS4 even if publishers target the lowest common denominator in Xbox One.

Really excited about Life vs Flash's new rivalry. Their games at the HotS launch event in Korea were fucking amazing. I hope they meet in the finals of GSL as well.

Flash vs Life was fucking incredible. If that's what we can expect from HotS I am excited. They should just use those games as marketing material.
