@potatispress: I get sourcing from multiple suppliers, but changing the design from a 23 blade fan to 17 blade configuration seems a weird spec change.
I've got an M1 MacBook Air and this this can run emulated x86 based games inside of an emulated version of Windows all without a fan. I'm sure that whatever Nvidia is doing with ARM will be fine for whatever Nintendo needs.
There's a difference between having questionable content within context and just endorsing said content. CDPR does the latter. It's fine to enjoy a thing with issues, but maybe consider taking a moment to hear what the objections are before just saying it's all good.
Like I enjoy Hannibal but I'm not going out stanning canabalism.
I don't think a particular genre defined this generation. In my view, the bigger deal this time is "is it fun to stream / participate as an audience member"
@humanity: you’ve absolutely nailed it. most everything you’re gonna play is basically medium settings on a PC. and while it works it isn’t gonna replace your in home hardware but it’s a good fall back for having fun on our ultra thin MacBooks and Chromebooks
@humanity: Stadia hardware does not currently support ray tracing. As far as latency is concerned, it's surprisingly not an issue for me in most games. Sometimes Destiny 2 chugs in the Tower though.
@zaccheus: I don't know if this is a Stadia-only issue but I've had numerous combat encounters where using a grenade removes my ability to reload guns or heal. Just something to be aware of.
