@vinny Looking forward to seeing the beasts turn into a well performing crew, it's a very rewarding part of the game. You can raise your sails to make sharper turns (would have let you thread the needle). You can also raise your sails fully, then weigh anchor and turn the ship without moving, useful to leave ports or coves without slamming into the island. The golden handle on the wheel is a marker for 0 degrees turn, and the ship makes a little "thunk" sound as you align to zero (the wheel can make a few revolutions so this is how you know when you're at 0 vs 30 degrees).
