@cory1981940:They were talking athletically and if you think HBK even at his best was anything near at what Seth is now, you're out of your mind. HBK had great matches, but dude was coked out of his mind and lived the fast life, Seth on the other hand spends time with his family and works out.
@skinnersweet: Same. There were so many good shows during the week and I'd like to hear what the duders ended up seeing.
I loved this episode. The whole internet has been so irrationally angry at the end of Wrestlemania that it's good to hear someone actually talk about it in a level headed manner. At the end of the day as a fan I don't care about whether the good guy or the bad guy wins (although I'll always cheer the good guys because it's fun to do), but whether or not I'm entertained. And this was the route to potentially the most entertaining stuff. Like they said, seeing cracks appear in Roman's armor sounds like an entertaining storyline, same with Cody now having something on the line with the possible rematch. What the Wrestlemania match lacked was that it wasn't personal, it was just a good guy wrestling a bad guy because the good guy was the #1 contender. Now Cody losing that match made it personal in the future.
@fedallah: It is not. While I try to avoid using the word mad myself, trying to draw an equivalency on these two is just plain wrong. Using "ADHD" as an insult is not just ableist language, it's just plain ableism. Whereas mad is commonly used to mean "very angry" but the word also has been used in old antiquated notions of mental health (but has been always used to also mean "very angry"). It is not attempting to deride people with mental issues. Like said, I don't think it's a good word to use since it makes people uncomfortable, but let's not try to find malice where there is just mild ignorance.
It's a shame that Auntie D's first time on Game Mess Mornings comes under such unfortunate circumstances. She's one of the big game journalism powerhouses who seems to have the worst luck with the corporate types.
Damn, Tam mentioning Quesada's marriage gave me flashbacks of when every interview he gave would at some point devolve into him talking about how getting married made his life worse and that's why Spiderman should be single. Also, him at times being weirdly horny about his own daughter, which was only made creepier when Spiderman started dating a character based on her.
