Well damn, this convinced me to not buy it. This looks like any other generic open world game with pretty graphics. And now I'm really confused about the glowing reviews, even from people like Jeff and Jim Sterling. I don't get it.
This looks like a really poor way of showing of a game with strong story and worldbuilding like Jeff was talking about in the review. Banging your head against an end game filler quest and doing a "third tier errand quest" or whatever it was called for an hour doesnt exactly win over people with fatigue of the ubisoftmodel.
I'm getting more and more suspicious of this game, everything they have shown is action action action. Definitely not what I come to Mass Effect 4 (get it?).
If you watch the intromovie about Samurais, knights and vikings fighting over a puddle of water and an elf trolling them from a bush i think the name fits very well into their super dumb fiction. Its like "Call of duty" but selfironic.
@nemesis208: I think Dan explained everything as far as he knows about the game. Maybe you noticed that he struggled half the quicklook with trying to throw a guy because it looks cool, Dan is not a man of deep mechanics.
This looked really fun but im not gonna play it after all.
It took me 30min to get my PS4 running again trying 20 different USB cables to sync the controllers with and then find out that this game (probably) releases 24/1 here. No word on it in anything related to Sony and their stores. Consoles are just plug and play yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh right, i will throw my money out from my balcony before i give that another go.
