This checks out. Holy shit.

Dan would love Christmas in Japan. The traditional Christmas dinner over there is a bucket of KFC, seriously.

@squirrelnacho: Where have I ever said you can't point things out that the guys missed? I have said that it's not effective to point these things out, because the whole series is already recorded. That's a different thing. I do find repeatedly posting the same comments about the same few things to be especially silly, and I don't seem to be the only person who has that opinion. At this point, it's like a lawyer continuing to object the same issue in a trial just to hear him or herself speak.

Dawg, this is something you said in response to another commenter just two episodes back. Maybe take your own advice?

"You don't know what you are talking. I really like this content, but that doesn't mean people can't point out that they could have payed a little more attention spending less time on things.

There are no "reams of text." The manual is tiny, and a large part of it is just giving the backstory of the game. Even if someone doesn't read the manual, the help button still explains the controls.

Your opinion of the story is subjective, and you haven't even played the game to know how the fighting gameplay mechanics works.

We get it. You were too young to play it when it came out, you grew up hearing jokes about capsule toys and QTE events, and you don't like to see people suggests maybe they could have payed a little more attention in the game so they don't spend an hour doing something that could have taken five minutes.

People can point out they paying a little more attention to clues that the game has given they would have saved a lot of time.

This is a great series, but it's mostly for the commentary."

@artisanbreads: Enjoy the fact that they played the game, and stop arguing with everyone who has a comment that is different than your preconceived notion of the game.

I never thought this would be so applicable to Giant Bomb content.

Yeah, Handibot was great, but the guy who sold getting shot at the end and the other dude playing along with him just "falling" down are co-MVPs. Rec Room is some of the best improv comedy I've seen in a while.

As is, this looks like a serious bummer. I don't mind grinding if it's on my own terms, but literally gating progress to force grinding (in a action game, especially), is just lame.
