NitW is an adventure game, as far as I can tell. Not aware of any idle elements in it.
Let's see, what other idle games have I played recently?
- Realm Grinder, which is quite deep and has a learning curve. But I didn't keep up with it. - I've got a game of Realm Revolutions going on Kongregate. Nothing terribly special about it. - ClickRaid on Steam was pretty fun for about a week. The kinda-multiplayer element of that game is interesting. - Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. A re-skin of Crusaders of the Lost Idols. Also PTW. Disappointing.
Just wondering what idle games people are playing! I've heard Jeff comment that he's been playing some, but I'm not sure which.
I've recently played and enjoyed Spaceplan, Universal Paperclip. I've also gone back to Egg Inc. and Soda Dungeon, and had a good time. What is scratching your idle itch these days?
This seems very likely. Dan would instigate it but not try to drive it too far. Jeff would definitely be there to pick it up with a "if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right" attitude.
Or Ryan. I feel like Ryan would also have been there to say something like, "No way, you motherfuckers. We've got to let this steep all weekend."
Also, today's mailbag also contains clues. Dan is holding a fast food packet which reads, "Let's do this." Indeed. Second, the subtitle of the piece says "Don't try this at home."
Dan would be a fantastic addition to the GBeast studio.
Definitely not. You can already feel the frequency of strong games criticism being less and less with Austin gone, as someone who really prefers just about everything GBeast at this point (well that last VinnyVania I heard was kinda rough, not something you'd expect from them), GBeast would slide way towards what GBwest does.
This has been in the works for months. The bald head, eye patch, even "New Dan" -- it's all part of the same multiple personality plot line, which is now reaching its first crescendo.
