I can't think of anything new, but I'll add my agreement to what other people have said.

1) Fast travel in DLC
2) Mini-map
3) Companion (maybe a claptrap) for loot, etc.
4) Weapon customization - I'm not saying a full fledged crafting system is necessary, but  add-on or upgrade drops (for mags, scopes, etc) would be nice. Also, a general purpose weapon upgrade kit. Example, if I have a level 40 gun I like, it would be cool to find an one-use upgrade kit that increases the gun to level 45 and improves the stats accordingly (Personally, I'm level 61 and still use a level 31 double anarachy SMG with nice extras - I'd love to upgrade that bad boy).

In broader terms (Borderlands 2), my  suggestions would be:
1) More story. Doesn't have to be a novel. Just something to add a little more personality to the game. Is it kinda sad when the best character in the game is a dancing robot?
2) More NPCs. I don't want to talk to them or anything, but it would be nice if T-Bone Junction actually felt alive. Have people walking around, getting drinks, driving some cars (getting drinks then driving cars).
3) Customizable characters. I want to make my own character. Both how they look and what type of "class" they are.
4) Armor.

Wow, you pulled out the big guns from the very start. There's no room for rebuttal - seasoned curly fries are indeed the best side for almost any food.

You're right... There's something poetic about it. Maybe it would be even better ("evil") if it was a veal burger and the cheese and calf meat came from the same dairy cow?

Oh, I vote cheeseburger.

I agree that experience points seem very archiac and "gamey" to me. I much rather have skills that increase over time through use like in Crackdown - Use the ability and it goes up. Simple and more natural than a level system.

The exact opposite is Final Fantasy. Those games have crazy rules, classes/jobs, hidden stats... it's a mess and no fun for me.

I got my 360 in Dec 05. I wasn't planning on getting it so early since there wasn't much in the way of games out at the launch, but I saw it in the stores and couldn't resist. I played a lot of bad games while I waited for Oblivion. Which, by the way, is the reason I bought a 360 - I wanted to play Oblivion and I didn't want to bother with upgrading my PC.

So, I guess you could say I didn't really pick 360 as much as I simply quit the PC.
