@sloppydetective: I had to fight the Anchor a few times, and the Spore boss took a few tries, too. There’s also a combat sequence while waiting for a...gondola, I guess?...late in the game that took me 2-3 tries. Eissej was another 2-3 tries encounter for me.

Outside of that, the only times I died were fluke explosions where a boatload of enemies piled up and things just got bananas.

For the most part, throw and pierce are enough to get you through that game.

While we’re bumped, I had a professor who would post grades on the wall outside of his office.

To spare feelings, allow for some privacy, etc., they were posted using the students’ full social security numbers in lieu of names...and sorted alphabetically last,first...

Boneheaded fucking idea...

I’ve been dealing with the flu (myself and one of the kids) for the past week. It’s sucked. I’ve played a decent bit of Resident Evil 2 while feeling okay enough to play a video game.

It’s pretty damned great.

I’m in the sewers, or a lab under construction. I liked the early game better, but I’m still having a blast. This is my first time with the game. Even the original, I kinda sorta played it for an hour, but I was a teen and had less interest in games at that point in my life.

I also finished Judgment a week or two back. I’ve played Yakuza Zero, Yakuza Kiwami, and Judgment from that series. I think Judgment is the least of the games I’ve played, but still a lot of fun. It ends a little anti-climactically compared to Yakuza, but it’s still a hell of a game.

@mezmero: Fuck lettuce on a burger...tomato for days, though...I’m down for mushrooms, too.

If it’s a diner, though, just drive through the hunger. Too many terrible greasy spoons out there to pick one out of a hat and not have regrets.

@rejizzle: The west coast crew seems to eat A LOT of fucking garbage food. I’d take their advice on burritos and very little else.

I’d be curious to head out west and tour some local pizza places. Pizza options, in particular, sound desolate out there. I’ve been to California a handful of times, but I don’t recall ever eating pizza out there...
