exactly. why in the fuck would anyone want to play this? I've dealt with enough loss and still have plenty I could lose before my time comes. Why in the hell would I want to play a game centered around the hell you go through?

who cares why they're denying it. It's a rip-off as-is. do the math. Even the annual cost isn't worth it. 10% is an insult..esp if you pay monthly..you'd have to buy TWO full-priced games a month JUST to BARELY break even...you're not saving shit. And play early? a couple hours? is that really their definition of "early"? that's an insult..lol.

Fact is this shouldn't matter unless you're an avid EA fan that buys 5+ EA games a year. I get the "sony should give consumers the choice" thing...on one hand..but consumers are stupid. Look at (most if not all of) the f2p models out there that make a killing...DOTA 2 especially. you gotta be all-kinds of stupid to pay for that crap.

I am a HUGE fan of Galactic Civ franchise...but I KNEW when this early access bullshit started it was going to go this route...more and more "larger" companies are getting into it.

If you think Early Access is a good thing..You are part of the problem. FACT.

depends on the spoiler and game in question. In a more "story" driven game, like an RPG...it certainly can ruin it. Especially if the gameplay and such aren't that great but the story is what it's about and is awesome..having that spoiled for you can really bring down the entire thing...

but in a game like say Borderlands 2...where story is part of it but not the main focus and not the "best" part of it...it can take away..but not ruin. I accidently spoiled that "someone" dies during BL2..I didn't know when or how..but I knew they would die. I didn't have any less fun playing the game I just knew that was coming..
