@vanredd: I am in the same boat and am looking for people to play with. I am super busy with school so I don't have a ton of time to play but I would like to do the raid eventually and would like to play with people who are willing to deal with the fact that I won't be the most hardcore Destiny player. Are you guys on PS4?

@dudeglove: No. This game is going to be hugely successful and will likely be in contention for many GOTY awards. Personally I don't really get the hype. I am sure it will be good but it doesn't look as amazing as some people seem to be making it out to be. Maybe it feels really good to play? But most people have not had their hands on it yet so that still wouldn't explain the hype.

@terminallychill: It definitely would be more useful that way but I am pretty sure it was an intentional design decision to make it more valuable early on and then less so as you progress. Unfortunately once you are good enough at the early levels it pretty much becomes entirely useless.

100 percent. One of the primary reasons I went with the PS4 as my primary console this generation is because neither Microsoft or Sony's boxes had backwards compatibility so I went with the slightly more powerful hardware. If Microsoft had backwards compatibility at launch or announced plans to implement it, I would have gone with Xbox instead. If Sony doesn't make their next gen console backwards compatible with PS4, I will not purchase another Playstation.

I really like me some Spiderman and this looks like it will be a decent game. I probably won't buy it until it drops in price though unless upon release I see it as something worth the full price purchase.

I am probably going to get one soon and install RetroPie on it. I wouldn't exactly call that particularly cool or interesting though.

Looks like more Spelunky, which I am totally on board for. Also love the nod to Super Mario World.

I do wonder if the reason some people react so strongly to Ashley's racism is because it is such a relatable issue. Like we have all met real life Ashleys and the topic of racism is a topic that we have real life positions on that are tested to some degree on a regular basis. Whereas we probably don't have people in our lives that are former pirates who used to murder for their own personal gain. Even though the latter is obviously much worse in reality, it is so fantastical that we are able to disassociate from it more easily.

I've never played Warframe but I am thinking of trying to get into it once it launches on Switch.

I assume people who don't get Alexy Quest are not aware of the movie Galaxy Quest.
