Hey kids, *sits on a chair backwards* high-scores and Tetris kill screens are all good and great but you know what's really poggers? Literacy.
It's lines like this — making me loudly exclaim "HAH!" or cackle like a hyena — that makes it fortunate I read at home instead of frightening people on the bus. Well, more than usual, I mean. The neighbours do occasionally call the police but they mostly know the score by now.
Oh, I always forget to mention: It seems like the spreadsheet has limited access? Unless that is a deliberate, bouncer-like feature, not letting undesirables into the club. But anywhere I cannot wear my pajama pants and bunny slippers is not a place I'd want to be anyway!
Kirby is one of those series I enjoy from a distance, because of the aesthetics and jolly mood, but when I've played one of 'em I usually bounce off. Feel like I should go back and play Epic Yarn, though. Also think Planet Robobot is fondly regarded among Kirbheads?
I assume this was all a ploy to use that title. Absolutely worth it, to be clear. And the feature itself is also great! Though in committing to the bit: shouldn't you be playing each game for the duration of a swan's lifespan? Just a brisk 12-30 years on average.
Terrific write-up! I suppose I am part of the problem as I rarely end up perusing any VNs/Japanese adventure games, but you do make this one seem quite intriguing and palatable.
Fab write-up! Speaking of the lesbian agenda, I always feel a surge of happiness seeing that Akarsha profile pic. Games of the year every year!
"... time is spent managing my nearly a thousand mods with new ones being added every day, and playing very little actual Cyberpunk, and taking hundreds of photos ... "
Haha hell yeah, living that sicko mode modding lifestyle! Excellent. Cool photos!
I'm mostly indifferent to Star Wars these days, but I did actually enjoy the previous Fallen Order - suppose I should check out Survivor, huh? I think the PC version has been unborked at this point.
