I like video games, always have. They are an escape for me from the day to day grind and all the heinous things happening in this fallen world. I have come here for ages to what felt like simply hanging out with the staff and watching them play video games and talk about inane stuff happening in their lives. It brought me joy.

I will simply say that you can't fight hate with hate, it just leads to more vitriol and violence. I am unqualified to speak further into matters that are beyond my understanding. I don't mind those with a platform, stepping outside of their lane to opine on a matter of social importance, but it should be done with careful thought and wisdom.

I will miss the staff and will miss the content, you truly brought me great joy.

I agree with the language issue. I think it was Drew who tried self editing his own use of language because he thought it made him more thoughtful when he couldn't fall back on the easy use of profanity as a descriptor. I know what I am in for listening to the Bombcast, but I still appreciate and don't see any problems with shows like Minn Max who do edit the podcast. I think we could all use a little more thought in the use and impact of our words.

Still getting error video on gbenthusiat app on nvidia shield and no video on the video buddy app, was working up till about 430 central time today.

For the who cares people, I was just curious, it in no way changes my opinion of Drew. I love hearing the stories of his escapades.

My wife occasionally listens to the bombcast with me and hears of Drew's travels, getting his pilots license, family house in Tahoe, etc. and wondered aloud if Drew was wealthy. It made me curious if Drew has ever mentioned another source of income than Giant Bomb or if he is just that good with his money. Either way not fair to the rest of us to look that good and have money to spare.

@rockyraccoon37: Sorry, I am at work so haven't been able to reply as much as I would like. I agree that blaspheme offends God, but if I am a believer in said God, would it not also offend me if I take my religion seriously. This is something I am trying to work through, so I want to thank everyone for their thoughtful and intelligent responses.

I have noticed that the more I grow in my faith as a christian, the more using the name of God as a form of swearing has bothered me. I love the personalities and games coverage of Giantbomb, but have found that every time this form of swearing occurs the usually permanent smile I have while consuming GB content fades away. I wonder if it is too much to ask of people to tone the use of God's name down in this current society where we are being asked to be inclusive and accepting of everyone's beliefs and lifestyles. There are many words we no longer say because they are offensive to certain people groups or lifestyles, why can't we do the same for God's name.
