This is the first Disney Infinity game I purchased, and I bought it with hesitation. I really thought this would be a game for kids only, and I would get bored with it real fast. Why settle when you can Reach 0
There is something about the Halo franchise that gets me excited. I like the characters, the story, and environments and the weapons. I have played the Halo series since Combat Evolved and was very exicted when I heard Reach was coming out. Now that I have finished the campaign I feel like I can give a full, fair review. Yes thats right, 5 stars. You can argue and you can say my review is not helpful but lets be honest, Tecmo Bowl was the football game to have in the late 80's/early 90's. EA Sports Active is a great training tool for people of all ages. The game itself doesn't look all that great but its a training game so graphics don't matter as much ac content. Along with the huge variety of exercises, there is also a journal where you can keep track of how healthy you are living based on food, sleep, water, and other activities. Life Force is a game that uses a lot of old school concepts. Its basically a traditional side scroller with power ups along the way to increase your space ships powers. I am a long standing Splinter Cell fan. I love the idea of being a "bad ass" that has tons of gadgets to play with. Sam Fisher always has an arsenal of fun gadgets and weapons that help you quietly go around killing people. Conviction is similar to this style but with a small twist. The Madden Franchise has really outdone itself and made itself the best football game available. The problem is, this doesn't translate to the DS very well. The graphics are terrible, the sounds is terrible and the controls are terrible. You do have a lot of options like you have in the other versions of the game but what EA needs to do is "dumb-it-down" for the handheld. Really, this "game" is no more then an adult version of a quiz game. All you do is guess what one of the girls is going to answer and depending on how fast you answer and if its right you get points. The more points you get the more you get to "see" of the girls. The first Endless Ocean was a fun game if you played it knowing it wasn't your typical game. It was more of a "Learn About Fish" game then an actual game. Bass Pro Shops The Strike may be onto something with this game, but they don't quite get it 100% yet. MX vs ATV Reflex is a lot like the MX vs ATV games before it. As you would have guessed, this game takes the Olympic Games and translates them into B.C. era. There are a handful of games that you choose from and you take on either the computer or you can go multiplayer.
