is it just me or do people seem to think it's cool to hate everything? why is this what people look up to? "you're angry and hate everyone? wow, I wish I could be like that and/or seek the approval of this person"
the only thing announced that I care about this year is the new flaming lips album in late June, but they're calling it a follow up to Embryonic, and I didn't really care for that one so much... Kind of a bummer. I wish they'd do a follow up to The Soft Bulletin or Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Just remembered this one. I think we can all get behind hating these guys, even you pussyfooters who don't hate bands. And it's thematically appropriate!
That song was horrible, but somehow it still managed to get stuck in my head. that's irritating.
I actively hate one specific song, not band, but the song is so shitty and stupid it makes me cringe at the thought of the band. I'm not posting a link because any spread of this song makes me want to slash my own throat. It even pains me to type out the name of the song
My Humps - Black Eyed Peas
I think it's the terminology used in this song that drives me fucking crazy. It's stupid and apish enough to trivialize sexuality and use it to sell, but to on top of that include extremely stupid words on top of it... I just want to start smashing heads. I've been known to leave areas playing that song.
I REALLY can't stand songs like "Aint nothing but mammals" and "love games" in general. Sex is the most boring damn thing to sing about and songs like this make me feel like people are stupid animals with the dumbest of basic instincts guiding their every thought, but somehow the song in question, to me, is the top of this idiot tree making the subject matter almost seem like they're making cutesy words for children.
Please let's set fire to this band and all those who enjoy this song so that we may never hear it again.
