Some of the races with the cars you obtain is just hillarious to play! Criteron has really outdone themselves on some of those.

The Bugatti Veyron "speed challenge" (drive to the goal with as high average speed as possible) is just pure adrenalin fun just to name one.

Hmm, It was some time since I played Wii Sports now but I would say that this is funnier than Wii Sports - even the first Champions was better I think, but it was rather hard, this time the controller movement has been approved a great deal and it feels easier to play on both silver and gold challenges.

Maybe its even cheaper than $30, its 199SKR in the playstation store here in Sweden which translates roughly into $30 which is less than half the price for a fullpriced game around here.

its bowling, skiing, boxing (which is funniest with two motion controllers), archery (and like in the first, funniest with two motion controllers), tennis and golf. They could have made some more sports into this aswell but I guess you can't get it all for this price :P

Anyhow, they are all funny the boxing made me sweat like crazy haha.

and the party mode is nice and you can just pass around the motion controller among your friends which is nice so it can be a fun evening with friends for sure.

Its really, really funny and its only 199SKR ($30) in the store so its cheap! The controller in this game has been seriously upgraded from the first one.

If you enjoyed the first one even remotley its well worth to take a look at this one.

I think its the best use of the move controller so far.

@CptBedlam bought it on eBay.

I see, then just sell it and invest your valuable time in FH.

FH has no online pass btw. (ripoff dlc instead). So you could just get a used copy.

The onlinepass for NFS: Most Wanted is a weird thing. You can play online without it but you don't get the speed points online unless you enter the code..

What is so annoying with the cops ? In the races they are a ton of fun in my opinion since they makes things just a little bit harder but just when crusing the streets I seldom even get chased by them.

As soon as I spot one on the radar I just drive a little more safe and they never bothers me... and in those cases they do get mad, having some boost and quickly taking out the cop that follows you usually ends the chase in a matter of seconds.

The bad thing about the cops...

  • The cop events feel random. It's not really about doing something especially right, but about the AI fucking up sooner, rather than later. The extent of player skill affecting high scores is knowing to turn off your engine to cool down faster.
  • After hitting a certain heat level, slower cars, especially without key unlocks, aren't really capable of getting away anymore.
  • If you want to do something other than being chased around by cops, then they become obstructive and a real pain in the rear - just like in real life. Like when I want to take the top place on some billboard or speed trap, and then the cops show up. Or if I'm driving 6 miles to some event I have not done before, just to get into an unwanted scrap with the police right when I get there. Hell - I just wanted to do the damn event, and never wanted to drive there to begin with.

Like everything in Most Wanted, as soon as I want to do something specific - like online multiplayer races - Most Wanted's design falls flat. Then the just-for-fun events and just-for-fun cop chases become an obstacle to my enjoyment of the game. Stuff like the cops or random public speedlists is being crammed down my gob, if I want it that way or not.

Hmm, I usually do anything but being chased by cops and I find the multiplayer to be very fun in this game I had some serious issues with the controllers in the beginning but now its going good when I got the hang of it. But I agree on the part that the cops are no point in the game besides when they are in the races, since I found that to make the races more tense and not so easy to win.

Oh well, its a matter of opinions and i hope Criteron makes a darn burnout game next time.. that is what I (and I guess most others) wanna see from Criteron.

This game is a perfect example of less is more - if it were less Need for Speed, it'd be more fun.

That is so true. The fun aspects of the game-and there are some really fun things in this one-are all coming from the burnout series.

I can understand how NFS fans are feeling tricked though. I would probably not like this game at all if I were not a burnout fan from the beginning.

But that's not exactly true in the original NFS Most Wanted cops actually had a purpose you needed a certain heat level to challenge the next Blacklist oponent so all your chases and the damage you cause on them acutally mattered as opposed to this new one where there's no blacklist and the cops don't serve any purpose to progress in the game. There's nothing Need for Speed in 2012's Most Wanted no car customization, no pink slips to earn or cars to buy (you find them in the world wich is kinda lame) or any human oponent or thing to do other than this is a 'racing game' complete this races and the only thing Burnout is the multiplayer and crashing through sings.

I feel its like 80% burnout in this game and 20% NFS. Those 20% had been better taken out and Criterion should had go all in and making another burnout game since its so easy to see the foundation is a burnout game and not an NFS game. The cops this time just feels put in there to make it feel like an NFS game.. and while they don't bother me that much as they seem to do with others.. I can understand the frustration with them if you wanna go explore the city finding billboards and stuff (which I enjoy alot to do actually).

The multiplayer has been a thrill so far.. but it feels like it depends alot on who you play with. When there actually are some seriouys player in the game that is not just out to mess with eachother it I have a great deal of fun and have had some serious fighting to the finish line :)

Oh well, I hope that Criterion do make another burnout game instead and stop this NFS thingy. Its in a way sad for the fands of the NFS games to get a game that is not really close to be an NFS game and for us burnout fans we get like a 80% completed burnout game.. its fun but I wanted to have more things in it. Crashes, tighter steerting and so on.
