Up next to join the Video Game Hall of Fame is Morrigan Aensland, the first Darkstalker and latest Capcom representative to join my Video Game Hall of Fame, alongside Mega Man, Jill Valentine, Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken, Guile, Leon Kennedy, Dante, Arthur, Nemesis T-Type, Akuma, M. Bison and Chris Redfield. The next addition for May 2024 will be a Mortal Kombat favorite.
Nina Williams, a Tekken fan favorite, joins Kazuya, Jin, Heihachi, and Paul as the fifth Tekken character to join my Video Game Hall of Fame. Next week's entry will be a perennial Capcom favorite.
Raiden (or Rayden as I prefer to call him) is the fourth Mortal Kombat character to join my Video Game Hall of Fame, joining Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Liu Kang. Next week's character will be a Tekken favorite.
Falco Lombardi, of Star Fox fame, joins his friend Fox McCloud as the second Star Fox representative in my Video Game Hall of Fame. Next week's character will be a Mortal Kombat staple.
Chris Redfield joins Jill Valentine and Leon Kennedy (not to mention his enemy Nemesis) as the fourth Resident Evil delegate for my Video Game Hall of Fame. Next week's character will be a Nintendo character from the Star Fox series.
Iori Yagami becomes the eighth King of Fighters character (following Terry, Joe, Kyo, Benimaru, Andy, Shingo, and Daimon) to join my Video Game Hall of Fame. Next week's character will be a Capcom favorite.
The villain M. Bison joins his Street Fighter compatriots Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken, Guile, and Akuma as the sixth Street Fighter character to join my Video Game Hall of Fame. Next week's character will be a missing link from SNK.
Joining Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken, and Guile is this week's addition from Street Fighter, namely Akuma (or Gouki to the Japanese). Next week's addition will also be a Street Fighter villain.
Paul Phoenix, of Tekken fame, joins fellow Tekken characters Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama, and Heihachi Mishima as the fourth Tekken representative in my Video Game Hall of Fame. Next week's character will be a Capcom fighting game character.
Akira Yuki, of Virtua Fighter fame, joins Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Alex Kidd, Gilius Thunderhead, Dr. Eggman, Axel Stone, Amy Rose, Shadow, and Silver as the 11th Sega representative in my Video Game Hall of Fame. Next week's character will be a Namco favorite.
