Now that i look back, i didn't play a lot of releases this year so putting this list together took some thinking. But here it is, all games i played on pc so the port quality also has it's say on the place on the list.
Got tons of hours out of. Visually awesome, okay enough story and awesome nemesis system.
The horror game of 2014 for me. Scary and atmospheric.
Funny traditional fps of overly glorified manliness. Definately awesome time spent.
The indie game for me. Funny and insightful, and humor stuck through the whole game for me.
Podcast and second screen video time waster no. 1 for 2014 (that also came out 2014). As a fan of management games this provided challenge and good times.
Funny RPG that pulled all the right strings of a South Park fan. Not higher on the list just cause the traditional RPG is not that huge in my list of game types.
Challenged CS at times for "playing with friends" shooter for me this year. Enough basis in realism to feel unique.
The racing game that got my attention this year. Good sequel that does everything right. Grindy, but that suits me.
Good Telltale adventure. Not quite Walking Dead season one, but i got into this one.
Was fun while it lasted. I thought the game deserved more although the level based progression was not good for a diminishing player base.
