There is something perfect about how the boss basically is an anime character when it comes to his power to separate his body parts.

This is going to be fun! Mostly because Dan and Drew is great together.
I am one of the few that hated the game, but it's always fun watching these guys.

Not even a mention of Dark Souls 3 in best music. What the fuck.
Also, why didn't Alex share more of the end of Thumper? The actual final boss is the coolest part there!

I love these podcasts, and every member of the crew rocks hard, but every one of these podcasts showcases how different from my taste Jeff's taste is. And how silly he can be expressing his taste. It does get old when you hear someone say "I don't understand how you can like Inside/Thumper/Witcher 3, it's a bad game" while gushing over something like Rez.

Only starting level 5 myself, but I already think this is one of my top ten games of the year.
Every little sound during my workday has made me aware of the rhythm it makes after starting playing this.
The last time I had such a visceral reaction to movement, rhythm and music in a game was the first tree you flee out of in "Ori and the Blind Forest", which I promptly started playing again after realizing so. Never got much farther than that. I hope playing both of these games mean I keep my rhythm game fresh, so that I'll be able to beat them both.

Was going to skip this QL till after I managed to play some myself, but fuck it!
Had to watch! If I hadn't already pre-ordered on Steam I would now. This is exactly what I wanted out of the game, and more. I was fine with just a "exploring space simulator" with not much else to do, but the survival aspect of it makes it even better in my book.

Hell, just seeing that location underwater, with some cave opening next to it? I love shit like that! Sure, maybe the cave just went in a few meters, but it might also have been a giant underwater labyrinth. Not sure what their algorithm manages to spit out.

Anyway, I am now even more bummed not being able to play this tomorrow, and Friday cannot come fast enough.

Seems pretty good! I bought MH4U last year, but only started playing it for real now when I upgraded to a New 3DS. It's fun as hell, but I know I will most likely never get to play it online, and it seems there are a lot of stuff I will miss out on because of that. And yet I kinda want this new one. Go figure.

@icd9: Thanks for the link to the playlist! Been wanting more Outrun to listen to. Been really into Mitch Murder, Kavinsky, Carpenter Brut, Com Truise etc for a while but I needed more.
I still find it weird how much I love this style, as I borderline hate electronica. I'm one of those "I like it heavy and Tool is the best band in the world"-assholes, so it's kind of a mystery.

Just to weigh in on the Hyrule Warriors Legends thing: I haven't gone so far as to get a WiiU yet, and so I ended up buying HWL for my old 3DS. Yes, the framerate is sub 30 (maybe around 25 or so), the graphics is bad compared to the WiiU version and there are fewer enemies on screen at one time.
Still I am having a great time. The game is fun, and I have quickly gone past noticing the graphics and framerate. Unplayable? I don't think so at least.

Would also watch a series chronicling the exploits of Brad Rieper and his trusty handler Dan Burnwood.
This looks a lot better than I had hoped as well. Seems they learned from their "mistakes" in Absolution, as this seems to be more natural when it comes to people noticing your disguises and it appears to be a lot more open ended.

@abcfsk: Carl Barks has great stories, and I love the artwork. But Don Rosa... man. His stories are beautiful, funny and suspenseful. Tears have been shed over his stories. For me, he is up there with other legendary storysmiths like Neil Gaiman, J.R.R. Tolkien and Douglas Adams.
