Between the return of Drew, a slightly tired and haggered crew and discussion on all the E3 news, I'd say that this was the best Beastcast in a very long time.
The art style really reminds me of Liero in a weird way. Or more specifically, the way that fire, destruction and projectiles seem to behave in this. I thought the guy behind that game, Joosa Riekkinen, would be involved in this but apparently not. Maybe the developers just played a ton of that game when they were kids, like me, and it got ingrained in them.
Thanks for the helpful review! The game is currently on sale for under 40 bucks and I'm thinking of picking it up. Have you tried any of the multiplayer modes? Local split-screen would be especially interesting for me.
Totally went on holiday recently and saw a place called ISIS Cafe, made me chuckle.
At some point in the early 2010's I was going to change my gamertag to Isis (in accordance with the Egyptian god). In the end, I was too lazy to change all my accounts and am pretty glad for it.
I still have a friend who's nickname has always been Isis and continues to be Isis. We won't let those damn terrorists change her nickname.
Oh, and Tsumu would make for a killer Switch game. Just speed up the movement a tad.
