@hamst3r:For me it went from a fairly average show at the start of endless 8 to one I wholeheartedly dislike by the end of that Season.

Honestly this is what sold me on that aspect of Battle Tendency right from the start :

1st half of TB is basically a vehicle for making Joseph look good and sure enough Josephs a lot of fun and has plenty of charisma but the show overall was just kind of lacking a real punch for me then that 2nd half of the arc comes along and provides what was missing. Some meaningful side characters in Caesar and Lisa Lisa some layers to the narrative with a few well done sub plots and some real consequences to add a bit of weight. Theirs even a bit of logic thrown into the battles in the 2nd half, couple that with the aspects that JoJo's is known for and I think this is were the series really starts to come into its own.

So I finished re-watching JOJO 2012 honestly I don't think JOJO really starts hitting its marks until halfway through battle tendency.Will see how SDC S1 goes on a second viewing.

well I finished initial D they couldn't have done a better job finishing the series then they did with final stage the animation the music choices the pacing the direction all was on point every thing clicked and they manage to round up the entire series in a real satisfying manner. I was looking for another shounen series I could really get into for a long while now, real happy I fond this series even though it has a bunch of rough edges I've enjoyed watching through it a great deal.

Just finished Initial D second stage the show did a great job on building on the foundation the first provided, overall its was better paced more focused, the hand drawn animation also improved and that last race was incredibly engaging, I also like the whole invasion stuff a lot. Then you get the interpersonal stuff which was a big step up from the sometimes awkward stuff from S1 if you had told me I would care about Takeuchi at the end of session one I wouldn't have believed you but his time with Kazumi was well handled and fleshed him out in a pretty natural way .Overall this season had a continuity and a driving force that I really enjoyed and of course good music.

from the videos I've seen of the game and the way it plays I'm very interested in how the game turns out.

As for people jumping the gun the game doesn't show well when the people playing it aren't aware of the systems in the game .

I randomly decided to watch Mikakunin de Shinkoukei and over the course of yesterday I finished it , overall its uses a lot tropes you've seen before but puts a bit more thought in to contextualizing and trying to flesh then out a bit. It also has some interesting ideas overall but it doesn't really make enough use of them leaving me with the impression that the show was kind of half baked I still liked it overall but if the execution was on point it could have been a much more interesting show as is its fine but it doesn't really stand out as much as it could have.
