Lean on my shoulder while we present this game in a weirdly intimate way.

Why isn't anyone making a Konami banner based on all the other great games Konami will be showing?

I've not played Ico, but Shadow is a great game.

In the world today, where it runs at 60fps and every other game looks better than this, God of War 3 had way bigger creatures and stuff like Braid n Journey and the whole indie-game movement are making strides into introspective experiences every year-- Shadow of the Colossus doesn't have the same klout it did when it came out.

BUT I've played it recently and the animation is fantastic, the world feels huge and mysterious, the play of climbing the monsters is awesome and they pulled off that horse perfectly. Elizabeth who? This is a fucking real-ass horse on my TV.

The image of Last of Us with "FROM THE CREATORS OF CRASH BANDICOOT" above it is hilarious.

I watched it a couple months ago. I didn't like that there was so much explaining of how this videogame stuff works, and what a glitch is, and why you need a coin, and how memory works, and how these bug-aliens turn into what they eat, and that double-striped canes dissapear and what "Going Turbo" means and why, etc etc.

I would've liked less of that stuff, and more exploring Ralph's personality as a guy who wrecks everything vs Felix's personality as a guy who fixes things. There's real-life problems to work through and think about in that relationship, and I don't think they went very deep on it. Toy Story does that with Woody and Buzz amazingly well and that's what makes that such a huge deal.

Venelope isn't very interesting, she just wants to be a princess and then is. All the foreshadowing of Turbo and bug-aliens and mentos-volcano just leads to a fat action blast, when I'd rather see that much time of Ralph's awkward interaction with Felix at the anniversary party. That stuff was great and totally made you feel for both those guys. They like each-other but can't be friends! Kids know about that!

Can we group the consistent themes people have made and put THOSE up for vote to the mods? Cos people are makin a whole group at a time here, and those are the ones everyone loves the most. If we just pick one of each then they all look out of place and nobody's idea looks like it was intended to.
