Good one. DOOM is good, but Hitman is something special. The multiplayer caveat was more than a little caveat if we consider the importance of multiplayer in DOOM games...
And I can't agree with DOOM nomination for best story. It barely has a story, it has a setting. The "break stuff instead of turning it off" was not that original, the same happened in ME3.
I am still not into the design of the characters. The animation is cool, I like the facial expressions, and the backgrounds are gorgeous, but something about the naked Homer Simpsons doesn't click for me.
Nope nope nope. Beating a live animal, even a rat, is what a sociopath would enjoy. I think the developer made a huge mistake think they were edgy when they were showing something despicable. I hope everyone at Compulsion Games take a sit down and think about some aspects of what they have made.
Based on the trailer, they seem to have dropped everything that made Prey what it was and make it something else entirely. They even replaced the weird weapons with a shotgun, and the native american protagonist with generic white dude.
The final game might be cool, but one has to wonder why they even bothered with the "reboot" angle.
