I'm really enjoying The Good Place with Kristen Bell and Ted Danson. The episodes are only 25 minutes or so and it's had some wonderful twists and turns.
Just started season 2 so looking forward to seeing where they take it.
I know it's likely not a popular opinion but I'm actually quite enjoying the Call Of Duty WWII campaign and liked the Battlefront II single-player as well. Neither were ground breaking but I'm quite positive on these two. Might also be a case of having low expectations from the reviews I've read and the guys chatting on the Bombcast.
I really like the character design for Moira and think her abilities could prove super useful.
The fact her healing orb deflects off walls etc. means you don't need line of sight to heal someone which could be great. Ana's biotic grenade serves a similar purpose but you can't use walls to land that into a specific area.
Even her ultimate seems cool, could really help break through those choke points - especially as it can pass through barriers.
Think I'll give this one a miss for now based on this thread - I always find a lack of communication from a game regarding damage super frustrating.
Also I have been completely spoilt by Metal Gear Solid V, I don't expect to have to memorize where enemies are anymore - I want emergent gameplay where I can improvise and still come out the other side rather than dying over and over.
I enjoyed the previous game but I already have a huge backlog to get through so maybe I'll pick this up next year.
Like a few others in the thread, Metal Gear Revengance had me questioning if I'd been playing the entire game incorrectly (probably yes as I didn't bother with parry much) and I also quit a set of trials that ends one of the God of War games.
More recently I tapped out on Persona 3 Portable's last boss. One failed 2 hour encounter was enough of that for me.
Personally it's a time thing - do I really want to keep banging my head against this encounter beyond, say, an hour? Especially in an era where I can just watch the ending on YouTube.
I saw Duke Spirit at the Camden Barfly back in 2005 for the Cuts Across The Land tour. Best gig I've ever been to. Band were phenomenal and I'd had the perfect amount of alcohol, not too drunk but drunk enough.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs were another great live act and if you're talking about bigger acts it's hard to top Paul McCartney or The Who, both of which were brilliant when I saw them.
