Velocity 2X is on my pile of shame. I really need to get to it!

But I really just came into comment on Threes - There is nothing wrong in putting it in the top 5! It's in my top 10 list too. I tend to over-value mobile games at first and then in retrospect think "why did I have this on my list last year?!" Threes though, has grabbed me and not let go - I've been playing it since release so I think it is definitely worthy!

@thiago123: Yeah, that's true. I was a bit snooty in my comment there, and it's nothing against Threes. It's an amazing game, I still play it regularly. I'm just disappointed with the general lack of big meaty story driven games. I mean, last year we had Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite, and no game this year (with the possible exception of Dragon Age) has either the artistic ambition or the impeccable craftsmanship either of those games had. And there's been so many disappointments, too.

@gkhan: Yep, I can see that. And it certainly has been the year of the apology. With that said, if you want a big story driven romp with lots of action (outside of the known Ubisoft quantities) - give Wolfenstein: The New Order a try. I'm an id fanboy so I was probably going to get it anyway, but when it turned out to be actually very good it was a great bonus.

@thiago123: Yeah, I've been hearing that. I have zero interest in the franchise or that style of game, but everyone's saying it's great, so I suppose I should check it out. I'll see if I can pick it up for cheap.
