Writing that's "really good" in this case seems to equate to "written to agree with my worldview."
I originally laughed at this sentiment. But then I listened to nearly the whole thing and stopped because, go figure, you are 100% correct
me and a buddy from my last tour play loads of games together, it's a great way to stay in touch, but we originally passed on this game. Now I'm curious what we'd actually think of the premise, narrative or themes; maybe we'd get all bothered like in that interview, maybe we'd actually like it & the values it supports
None of that really matters since I'm not 80$ CAD levels of curious, but still kinda curious anyway
