Haven't seen any shortage of digital keys (can that even happen through Steam?). Physical copies available on Amazon and Walmart.com. Are you located in the US, EU, UK, Canada, Japan? I haven't heard of any shortages so maybe it's restricted in your country for some reason?

I'm happy they've stopped straddling the line between action rpg and turn-based rpg and finally just chose a direction (from what I could glean from the trailer, at least). I'll play a character action game like DMC or Bayonetta here and there if the word of mouth is positive enough and what they've shown of the combat here looks promising. I really struggled getting a good feel for the combat in FF7 Remake on normal difficulty and when I knocked it down to easy the game basically played itself, so I think the assist items are a great addition.

Of course the "no Black people in medieval Europe" is a shitty copout by Yoshi P, as @av_gamer pointed out. If he was really setting out to create a fantasy medieval Europe where the only part of the game that was accurate to history was it's racial demographics (very believable) you would think someone would have done a google search, or even better, read a bit of the mountain of academic work that's been done on the subject, checkout some of the artifacts that have been preserved from that time frame, etc. I find it very hard to believe that in the process of creating this fantasy Europe not a single person on this gigantic team came across the fact that people from across Africa and Asia came through Europe for one reason or another and some stayed.

I don't know much about tricking people into buying garbage, but this seems a little excessive

@sethmode:

Every person I have ever met who has gotten super into marijuana has become absolutely insufferable about it ranging from trying to push it on everyone they know as some kind of miracle drug, to their use and appreciation of it becoming a replacement for having a personality.

I'm sure it has helped people, and that's fine. I'm literally invested in cannabis stocks in the stock market (my worst performers). The sooner its legalized the better. But Weed enthusiasts are equally as obnoxious as Vape enthusiasts.

@splodge:

I'm sure Jeff would have said '*** yeah, weed!" as well. But it doesn't make it any less annoying to people who just aren't into it.

Sounds like everyone you associate with sucks shit. You should probably do something about that.

@lyndbako: how do you stand watching any content with these professional adults that you see as so pathetic and childish? it must be tough

They used to have a literal bar in their office and a beer fridge on set in one of their more recent studios. This weird discussion of "omg they talked about weed on stream" when they used to frequently drink and talk about drinking on stream is certainly bizarre.

They used to talk about all of the weird drinks people would send them. Talking about the various edibles they're trying now is no different other than being a different medium.

This. I probably watch/listen to 95% of the stuff they put out and feel like weed really doesn't come up that often, especially not in a "Oh my god bro I got soooooo high the other day let me tell you about it" way some posts here are suggesting.

@eelvac: I was about to when I realized I owned it on Steam somehow, but then saw I Waypoint streaming it. They got through the third episode and I thought it was really well done. Going to play through the last episode on my own.

Their other game, Observation, is pretty good too. They ditch the text adventure style and you control an AI robot on a damaged spaceship and spooky stuff happens.

@monkeyking1969: Newest Soulcalibur came out in 2018. It was my first and I thought it felt real good even though I mostly didn't know what I was doing.

I'd also recommend giving the newest Tekken a shot. I thought the previous couple felt stiff, but this one for, for whatever reason, really connected with me.

@prl412: Jan also cosigned that absolute shit article announcing Jeff's departure (people were assuming it was written by a lawyer or some corporate type because of how impersonal and disrespectful it was) and announced a "new era of transparency" at GB. I actually like the all the folks here, but the way they handled Gerstmann's exit was trash. This is how companies handle firing a prominent employee who turns out to be a racist or a homophobe, which I'd like to believe doesn't apply to Gerstmann.

Kiwami 2 for sure. The first Kiwami's story is kinda bad, especially coming off 0. Kiwami 2 does a good enough job getting you caught up with what happened.
