This is a match I played of the UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer. It's a Team Deathmatch I played along with a user on Giant Bomb, he's the person I'm Buddied with. He always kicks a lot of ass in this game. I took my first try at uploading a full match. I fast forwarded through some of the boring parts and got to the kills. The match went into Overtime, but we still won.
If you have UNCHARTED 3, You can add me on Facebook and synch up your UC3 profile to your own Facebook account. Then we can play together some time. Even if you don't like competitive online play, the co-op stuff is a ton of fun to play, as well. There are always people playing Co-op Arena and Adventure.
My loadout for this match is
Character Skin: Nepal Chloe
Long Gun: Elena's G-Mal (Quick Reload/Clip Size/Call Out Mods)

@CornBREDX: Check out the co-op story adventure mode for a good few hours of fun. Arena co-op mode is a chilled way to spend a few hours, I listen to the bombcast while playing it. Hunter stay well clear of it's terrible and shade's mode, don't waste your money.
So yeah try co-op if you do finish the single player and want to get some more Uncharted goodness.
I liked Shade Survival, but you need to play with friends who will stick together. You will also find that UC3's Co-op modes are always busy. There are people who play almost exclusively Co-op and never touch the competitive. Though, with this patch the competitive objective modes should get a lot more fun.
I completely agree about Hunter Arena. Maybe it could get better now that rage quitting effects your stats, but I doubt that. I'm so happy there are no treasures associated specifically to that mode.
OHHHH, I love that they are now counting K to Ds even if you quit. This should really cut back on some rage quitters who are artificially boosting their profile stats like that. You know when you see someone with 30K kills and only 6K deaths. That's what they do. It's also a great touch that Kills and Deaths will no longer be counted in objective based matches. It should be about the objectives in Team Objectives and Plunder. Not people using them to up their K to D. I bet you'll see people play a lot more wildly because of that because they are actually trying to do the objectives.
I really enjoyed Elimination in UC2. It was really strong on tactics and sticking together as a squad. That's the way to win that match.
I never experienced The Lab in UC2. I don't really know what to make of that.
I love the intros on TDM. I wish they had made more.
I wonder if Advanced Settings could also effect Arena to just do ten rounds of Survival or the others?
Only question left is when does this patch drop? I wish they would do this again for TNT since this is really changing things up.
@X19:
You can certainly count me in on some more Elimination, Lab, and objective matches.
Here's a bit of proof that you don't need to be incredibly skilled to kick some ass in Uncharted 3's multi-player. Today, I played a Plunder game. All the members, except for one, had Legacied at least once. It was a heated and competitive match that was going back and forth, and I wasn't goal tending, as people tend to do in Plunder. I should add that the Villians team was made up of a four man Party that was using voice chat.
I'm not an incredibly skilled player in online games. In Call of DutyMW and Black Ops, I get whooped, most of the time. Still, I managed to have a 34 to 9 Kill to Death, and 16 Assists in this Plunder match. I've even won some Free for All matches.
Well, "hired" is a very loose term for what Anime Vice has done in regards to myself. I'm freelance in just about every sense of the word. I don't know about Nick, but I'm not getting paid for the things I write.
I would love to play Japanese games, but I don't have capture equipment. I would make some video reviews, but also lack a video camera. I did get a webcam recently.
Sad to see so little action for this thread. It's an awesome game. I got it for Christmas and I'm already Legacy 1 Lvl 53. I only have one more Crushing Co-op Adventure. My PSN account is on my Giant Bomb profile in the Achievements section. I'd certainly like to join in.
Last week, I had a Team Deathmatch win that was 22 and 8. Sadly, I had joined the game in progress, and it didn't save in the Cinema.
I'm frequently trying to work on cross promotional articles to try and encourage the different sites to work together. Last week we had Anime Vice and Screened come together to have a user created Screening Room of the anime movie Summer Wars.
As I reported in the article I wrote for Anime Vice, first the episodes will be aired on Thursday on Anime Network. The next day they will be put on HULU & Hulu Plus.
I don't know about dub. It's a bit too early for that sort of news. I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. Sentai Filmworks which will be releasing the series in the US also dubbed Highschool of the Dead, and that was horrible. Probably one of the worst anime dubs I've heard.
My problem with game on the PS3 is with online play only. I love the single player, but the multiplayer just just broken for me. I try to start any game, and if it fails. It not only kicks me back to the main menu, but it disconnects my PS3's internet connection. This is the only online game that this has happened to me.
It was on Friday September 9th that Whiskey Media celebrated two years of the site mergers and subscription benefits with it's Big Live Live Show. I wrote a blog review after the first one, and thought it would be appropriate to give it another go. The show consisted of eight full hours of live entertainment hosted by the stars of the various Whiskey brands....minus one.
First off, I really do have to express a lot of gratitude to the Whiskey Media staff for adding the stream to the front page of Anime Vice. I saw the stream up for all the sites, except Anime Vice and Tested hours before the show was to begin. One hour before the show's start, I saw the stream added to Anime Vice. I spent most of my time in the Anime Vice chat. It made for a great conversation, and I was able to suggest some anime and manga series to some new users.
The Good
Ryan's hosting was exemplary as per usual through the length of the show. Some of the couch stuff made for some of the best laughs of the show. The music was at times both engrossing and hilarious. I don't think I had ever expected to hear an eleven string bass be played together with a ukulele. We haven't seen a collaboration as unlikely as that since Aerosmith and Run DMC. The Dance Central 2 content almost seems as if it's scheduled to be released with the Live Show. It was on last year's show. Too bad it didn't get a little extra time to watch more of the staff compete in the game. That's full of entertainment potential.
Comic Vine had a nice interview with three members from the Gender Bending Justice League. That was nice, but I couldn't help thinking that they were basically what would happen if Emporio Ivankov was ever let loose in the DC Universe. Sara was being her usual charming self, and Tony really seemed to love his Batman ski mask. Whenever he wears that thing I keep thinking he's going to rob a bank. I always enjoy it when James Robinson is on the Comic Vine Podcast. Seeing him on camera for an interview was equally nice. I was rather surprised to see the people in the AV chat didn't seem to happy about him.
Anyone who was bothered by the fact the Comic Vine interview was prerecorded for the Live Show really needs to relax. I thought it was completely reasonable. Geoff Johns is kind of a busy guy at the moment. He probably really wanted to do the interview, but couldn't make time for it on Friday. They record the spot when time was convenient for the man, and they kept it until they needed it to air. Not everyone can just drop their plans for Whiskey Media.....but they should.
The Screening Room for the Screened segment was one of those films that was just so horrible that it was so much fun watching it be mocked. It really brought me back to the joys of Mystery Science Theater 3000. When I saw them giving that film away as I prize. I couldn't tell if it was a gift or a punishment.
Norm and Will from Tested were entertaining, and that surprise upset in their lock picking was a hoot. Out of those two, it doesn't matter who wins or loses. Their reactions are always fun to watch. I was sad to see that Gary Whitta never got involved in any of the on camera shenanigans. As an artist, I was really interested in Norm's interview with the guy who made replica weapons based from games. Norm also had some very nice photography tips for cosplay and conventions.
The Bad
I think this just comes to personal taste, but I very much didn't enjoy the Star Craft 2 coverage, and it went on for FAR too long. I watched that, and I have no idea what the hell is going on. I'm hearing all these words that I think are being used in sentences. It has to do with economies and that's pretty much where I zone out. If it hadn't been for the chat. I might've dozed off.
I do wish the Comic Vine staff had more segments. They have a lot of personality that I feel deserved more time. It felt a little short in that area. I could really have done with more comic talk and a lot less Star Craft.
It was just too bad that Tom Pinchuk couldn't make it for the Live Show this year. It would've been nice for him to host some segment for the Anime Vice audience. Even if it was just a short give away for a few manga volumes or DVD box set. The guy has a lot of charm and personality.
Verdict 7/10
It can't be denied that a ton of hard work was put into this year's Live Show. That should be appreciated above all else when it comes down to it. I had a lot of fun, and it was a great opportunity to chat with some of the users on Anime Vice live. I understand why the Star Craft 2 segment was in the show, but it went on far too log for my liking.
I didn't take part in any of the subscriber only features, because I'm not one. So I can't really speak to that content in this review.
I had to leave near the end of the show to meet some people for dinner. Last part I saw was Norm chopping fruit with a katana that he was wielding as if it was a baseball bat. I think that was near the finale. I hope it all worked out well for them and they got even more members. The gang at Whiskey Media worked hard and the outcome shows. Hope they got some rest during the weekend.
