This game has been a real rollercoaster of emotions for me. From excitement at that first trailer, to disappointment to learn that it was a not-very-good crafting game*, to optimism upon hearing the developers were retooling the game into the narrative game implied from that trailer, back to disappointment to hear that the final product is a not good mash-up of genres with many technical limitations, and with a last twist of shock to hear that its a $60 game.
*I'm fine with a good one, but all indications were that it was pretty half-baked in early access.
Super excited for this. The Mass Effect trilogy is the best.
It will take some time for me to adjust to Alex's character selection though. I played through the whole trilogy three times over the years and always played as default female Shepard, so hearing Jennifer Hale saying those lines out of a different-looking character is jarring me right now.
@humanity: A solid 20+ minutes. I'll generally just stand in scalding hot water for a solid 10 minutes before I even start thinking about cleaning. I recognize that's slower than most, and I will be much faster if someone is waiting, but if I have the time I just want to relax.
@wardcleaver: If I was out in the summer heat all day, I probably would shower in the evening. Just like I'll take a shower at the gym after finishing a workout. But most days I'm in one air conditioned environment after another all day long, there is no sweat. You raise a good point though, I am generalizing from my perspective as a white collar office worker.
The thing about morning showers is, if you're concerned about your sheets getting dirty at night, you can just... wash your sheets more frequently. I couldn't imagine not taking a shower in the morning, I need it just to wake up and even on the rare times that I do take a night shower (like if I was doing manual labor around the house all day) I still feel gross in the morning and need a shower.
And fuck taking two showers a day regularly, who's got time for that?
I am disturbed to find out that the mushroom is part of his skull rather than simply a neat hat. Was this already known and I was just blissfully unaware?
