Couldn't agree more, Alex. I'm ~26 hours in, I've accomplished very little, there's no story to be seen, no goals to set, and I don't have a positive or convincing argument for the game, but it's my favorite thing I've played in years.
The first planet I was on was a giant-fungus-covered, hostile-ass crock pot of a planet, and as soon as I found a cave, I was happy I spent sixty dollars. I can't wait to play more.
