I feel like I've heard the name of this game multiple times, but know nothing about it. It's launching in 3 days at $30, currently on sale for $27 US in the Epic Store.

Anyone have any insight into if it's any good?

The trailers look polished. The game looks a lot like Satisfactory in many ways, minus of course the building/automation aspects and swap in survival.

Cuality

Well that was disappointing.

The controls are really bad. There is controller support, but you can't use it because the cut action is mapped to the face buttons (not changeable) and you need the right analog stick to point. Mouse and keyboard is also broken because a) you can't go full screen, so if you have multiple screens, you're constantly clicking off the edge of the window and taking focus away from the game; and b) the angle seems very imprecise and hard to predict where he's going to slash.

It also seems to have a pretty severe difficulty curve. I failed the first level a couple times and have failed nearly every one of the first 4 levels at least once.

Downloading now from the Humble Monthly Trove. Looks like a very cool concept. Any experiences?

I just watched the trailer (browsing through Epic store's 5 games) and immediately bought it based on just the first video. Coming fresh off of Astroneer, I am super into this.

Worth the $30? Looks interesting, though the art style isn't really doing it for me. Mostly the character design.

I'm in AEST (Brisbane) time zone, which should indicate based on the ticker at the top of the window that the "Smaller Murder Island" live show is at 8am on April 5 my time, but the Coming Up shows it at 6.

Just saw it pop up on Steam, like they had to offer me a drug I used to be horribly addicted to, had no exposure to in a while, and had gotten fully clean from.

Is it worth diving back in?

Just got this in the Humble Monthly bundle. Looks very interesting, but I'm curious if it's worth my precious Aussie bandwidth.
