Rey continues to be this vessel of perfection with no flaws or character growth or even really any character.

That wasn't true in TFA and it's even less true now.

She's the ultimate Mary Sue and it's even more apparent now. She continues to coast through things and have no training.

This movie took all the potential TFA had and just squandered all of it. It's really quite fucking astounding how they did this.

Rey wasn't a Mary Sue even in TFA. She was flawed, and those flaws are made apparent in TLJ. TLJ is showing how much Star Wars needs to change, and some dislike that change, but it's an interesting take on the series as a whole and it's wonderful for it.

The more I think about it, the more I dislike the film. I loved episode 7, am lukewarm on Rogue One, but this one was a mess. It took everything interesting and mysterious from 7 and threw it away, or provided TERRIBLE answers. The plot was so insanely nonsensical.... so much wasted time with dumb subplots and bad new characters.... not to mention literally every male in this film is either evil, or unable to do anything productive, good only for sacrificing themselves or being saved by the female leads. Between the terrible writing, in your face politics, and feminism, this didn’t even feel like a Star Wars movie. And with how much it changed everybody it felt like it had nothing to do with episode 7.

Is this a serious post. Like are you really going to sit here and try to say that feminism is a factor in the movie? Like is this for real.

I didn't like it much at all. It felt utterly pointless, almost the entire way around. If Finn and Rose weren't in the movie, the climax and ending literally would not be affected in any way.

That's not entirely true. Finn and Rose are sort of integral in the grand scheme of things, given that they're instrumental in spreading the whole message of the movie. Not to mention their plot interweaves with Poe's and is part of the reason for his development. They are part of the reason why the final battle is much more dire.

It's literally the second best Star Wars movie. It wasn't some 'Marvel' version of Star Wars that some here are claiming just because there were jokes and quips - that's nothing new for Star Wars at all.

Return of the Jedi is a bad movie. Rogue One has a solid act three. Return of the Jedi lowers the quality of the original trilogy. Rogue One is effectively unessential. Therefore Return of the Jedi is the correct choice. You can skip Rogue One and be fine. You have to watch Return of the Jedi, or at least its second half which is the only part that matters. Because it's a bad movie.

No intention of seeing it, after seeing that kylo ren survived the first movie.

Yeah, weird how the central antagonist survives the first movie of a trilogy especially when a character is told to save him at the end of it. Odd.

You, apparently remember a lot more of that movie than I do. I checked out after kylo beat the crap out of that computer terminal, and left the theater after he pulled off his welding mask to reveal he was the keyboard player for the emo version of love and rockets

Oh, so you didn't even see the movie and then act surprised that the antagonist lives? And it's a good thing the point of Kylo's appearance was lost on you, considering it's kind of crucial to his character that he looks so non threatening outside of the mask and all.

So I know many of you have just had only one viewing of the movie, but I remember after multiple times of watching TFA, it definitely grew old really fast... I feel as if the writing and new characters just don't really carry the same weight as any of the past movies and there are some downright goofy moments that feel like they shouldn't exist in the final cut.

Man, I dunno what Star Wars you've been watching but they've all had goofy moments.

I don't see a diablo 4 unless they figure out a way to add microtransactions.....

Pay X number of dollars for an item that increases the drop rate of legendary gear and XP/Gold gains.

Pay X number of dollars to boost to the max level.

I can't say I've seen anyone earnestly praising Fares for saying "Fuck the Oscars", but for a lot of people, myself included, the only draw of The Game Awards is that it's a trash fire and Fares was fuel on that trash fire.

The show wasn't a trash fire and it's actively improved considerably since its inception. Why people want something meant to celebrate games and the people that make them to fail is beyond me, but then gamers do come off as angry over nothing fairly often.
