The Beatles explored so much territory that making a game almost makes too much sense. I think that the argument of whether The Beatles changed rock music or whatever is kind of missing the point. The Beatles changed music. Period. The line between pop and rock is so thin these days, and I feel like people are almost shy to admit they like pop, but that's what the Beatles' hits were, fine tuned, well crafted pop delights. However, go deeper into their catalog and you can find jazz, hard rock, and even country. I think it all comes down to what you like, really. A game with a whole bunch of Metallica tracks sounds mind numbing to me, but hey, other people totally love that shit. My point is, no matter how you look at it, The Beatles were an integral part of music development, so they deserve something for it. If you don't like them, don't buy it. But don't say they don't deserve it.
Both this and the PS3 Slim look so ugly. One of the main attractions of both the PS3 and PSP is that they battled lack of software with, well, brand name and sexiness. This is just... ugly.
I tried it, and as promised, my dude turned into a chick. Sorta. The problem is, I think it only changes your face and makes your hips wider, because "she" still has the general characteristics of a dude (Broad shoulders, muscular, etc.). It's really strange looking.
"My favourite so far may be Red, Yellow, and Blue by Born Ruffians. Though I will admit I also really dig the self titled debut by Hercules and Love Affair. "
Completely Agree.
However, I kind of wish LCD Soundsystem would re-release Sound of Silver or something, if only so I could call it the album of the year again.
