Forza Horizon 5 despite being basically the exact same game as 3 and 4 which almost adds to why I like it

Nier Replicant ver whatever. im glad that out of Automata's insane fluke success i managed to get a (more) finished version of this great story (lots of familiarity and comfort food this year) (also needs some patches)
Deathloop, a really tight feeling game I can do dumb shit in despite it not really clicking the way I wanted it to and the structure being like two notches too layered
we're gonna have Loop Hero round out the top 5 7. I know you said 3-5 but i couldnt help myself. Honorable mentions are Chicory for just seeming like it's pretty awesome and New Pokemon Snap which should not have had grinding but haha look a Pinsir
Overall a neat year of releases despite not beating a single one of these games I talked about while buying more games than ever. That is healthy I think
Well anti-anime people have definitely lost the culture war, that is for sure. A lot of top rappers, athletes, and pop stars are open about their passion for it, and although it's still a bit weird and novel to see that, when that starts happening with something, I mean that's about it, it's pretty ingrained in culture at that point. More mainstream media is inspired by it than ever and the most popular anime mobile games make so much money to the point i don't know why anyone tries to make a normal game anymore.
Although I don't like or agree with your implication that just because people are more comfortable with anime as the main reason why people would like Scarlet Nexus. I had the expectations of an action game with somewhat unique gameplay that might miss the mark or be a slog or have some kind of flaw, but bought based on the gameplay concepts and general aesthetic of the world. I think it's at least above average to great in most respects and its definitely one of my top games of the year, not to say it's absolutely perfect for me. Although I didn't beat both campaigns yet and might have different opinions if I did

I actually don't think anyone forgets the bad parts of Far Cry 3, in fact i think the fact it basically ruined all of it's story potential is why people have been so critical about this series since
Handheld gaming to me at this point is being able to play stuff in my bed, and making my anime wifes have the big number. And i think I'm okay with that? I don't know.
